(Stephen Iandoli, NECN: Boston, Mass.) - Cycling champion Lance Armstrong is among the many athletes in town for Monday's Boston Marathon.
On Friday, Armstrong took some time out from training to visit Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Recovering from testicular cancer that spread to his lungs and brain in the mid 1990s, Armstrong's almost superhuman drive continues to inspire those stricken with the disease.
The Lance Armstrong Foundation, committed to finding a cure for cancer has raised over $270 million dollars since 1997.
