(NECN) - The New York Giants ended the Patriots quest for the perfect season, beating them 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII.
Eli Manning led the Giants 83 yards in just two minutes, that ended with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress with just 35 seconds left in the game.
New England finishes the season 18-1 and the 1972 Miami Dolphins remain the only team to go undefeated from the start of the season through the Super Bowl.
