(NECN) - A French man's attempt at a world record sky-dive has come to an end because his ride left without him.
Michael Fournier wanted to parachute from 130,000 feet which is at the very edge of space, sending him hurtling towards Earth for 15 minutes.
One problem, the Helium powered balloon that was to take him there drifted away without the capsule he was in.
Fournier's attempt on Sunday was called off because of bad weather conditions.
