Max Lane breaks down Pats' loss to Jets

(NECN) - The New York Jets are now alone in first place in the AFC East. A great comeback by the Patriots fell short Thursday. They were down 24-6 at the half, but by the fourth quarter, the Jets lead was just 31-24. With seconds left on the clock, Matt Cassel connected with Randy Moss for a 16-yard touchdown to tie the game at 31. The Pats however would eventually lose in overtime.

Former Patriots offensive lineman Max Lane joins Jimmy Young on this segment of Prospective to break down the game. Commenting on the touchdown at the end of regulation, Lane says "as much of a great catch that was... that was one of the best throws I have ever seen." Lane added, "I don't know if Brady makes that throw."

Lane says that although this was a very tough loss for New England, they should be happy with how well players stepped up to fill roles of injured starters.
