(NECN/ESPN: New York) - Today was going to be the day we might finally hear from Matt Walsh himself about his role as a videotape assistant with the New England Patriots. So far, though, nothing from Walsh.

Walsh's attorney, Michael Levy told reporters outside the NFL offices in New York that "out of respect to Sen. (Arlen) Specter," who is next on Walsh's meeting docket today, he and his client would skip any comments in New York and proceed to Washington, DC.
The meeting between Walsh and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wrapped up shortly after 10am today. But we'll have to wait until at least this afternoon to hear from the man at the center of the case.
