Nelson believes that Mayo has the best chance out of all the rookies to break into a starters role this season. He was impressed with Mayo's performance against the Ravens, and is confident he will be able to make big plays, because of his instincts. Mayo's transition from college to pro should go smoothly given all of the veteran talent around him.
For the bad performances, Steve thinks it is time for backup QB Matt Cassel to step up. The second string quarterback proved last night that if Brady were to go down, this Patriots team would be in big trouble.
