(NECN) - At the Beijing Olympics, it was a big haul for US swimmers on Tuesday morning. This included another Gold and another world record for Michael Phelps.
He won the 200 meter Freestyle in world record time, picking up his third Gold medal of the games.
He now has nine Golds in his Olympic career. He is tied with Carl Lewis and Mark Spitz for most all time.
Two of his teammates also found success at the Water-cube.
Aaron Peirson won a Gold medal with a world record time in the 100 meter backstroke.
On the women's side, Natalie Coughlin also took Gold in the 100 meter backstroke.
