|
(NECN) - After losing Game 3 in Cleveland, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were frustrated with the team's performance. The Boston Celtics remain winless on the road in the playoffs, after losing 108-84 to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3. Garnett scored 17 points, Paul Pierce 14 and Ray Allen 10 as Boston's Big 3 of superstars combined for 41 points.
Garnett says "We will make adjustments, we don't expect the rest of the team to make 50 percent the rest of the series." He said that in order to beat the Cavs "they need to keep these other guys from making plays." Saying it is not characteristic of the Cavs for all those guys to be making big plays.
Wally Szczerbiak, Smith and Ben Wallace - who totaled 63 points, 20 rebounds and six 3-pointers. West made four 3s, Smith went 7-of-8 and Wallace, who wasn't expected to play because of an inner ear infection, gave Cleveland an inside presence while guarding Garnett.
