(NECN) - "I dreamed about this every year," Paul Pierce told a gaggle of press at his basketball camp Friday. "That's what I am trying to tell these kids. It just goes to show you dreams do come true."
Pierce says he is still enjoying the high after last month's NBA Championship, admitting he hasn't really let the Series MVP trophy he won out of his sight. "I've taken it to restaurants, to clubs, to poolsides... I'm thinking of charging an appearance fee (for the trophy)."
He also talked about some of the big free agent signings of the summer, and said he hoped the Celtics could find a way to bring back James Posey, saying Posey is the kind of utility player "that championship teams need."
