(NECN) - Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen says the team got a lot out of their close call in the first round against Atlanta, and those elssons will serve them well as they face Lebron James and the Cleveland cavaliers in the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals, which being Tuesday night at TD Banknorth Garden. Allen says the Celtics were reminded that at this level, they can't let up, and they can't force things as they did at Atlanta, especially in game 3 of the series. But in the end, Allen says, the adversity brought the team together, which he says is the definition of "a true team". That Celtics team will be tested by James - and his teammates. "This time of year, the playoffs is about matchups, it's just important... that you pay individual attention to each player out on the player so you don't let them beat you with their strength."
