| September 4, 2008 Seymour: 'We understand who we're playing'
|
(NECN) - While the Giants begin their season tonight, the New England Patriots continued to work out today at Gillette. The Pats are a big favorite Sunday against the Chiefs, but as always, these guys in the Patriots locker room continue to say all the right things. Just wearing the Patriots uniform, doesn't insure a win.
"I think the team is ready to go. We have a tough opponent in KC, obviously we didn't have a good showing in pre-season, so we want to come out and show the fans we're ready to go," said Richard Seymour.
"It's an exciting time of year for us," said Seymour.
"We understand who we're playing. This team does a lot of things offensively that we had to prepare for. We have our work cut out for us. I think we'll be ready to go," said Seymour.
