Welker: We gotta make up for lost time

(NECN) - We are just a few days away from the Patriots season opener. It will be the first snaps of the season for NFL MVP and Patriots QB Tom Brady. Teammate Wes Welker weighs in on the situation.

"Anytime you can get out there and get more reps, it's always a plus. We gotta make up for lost time. All that will decide itself on Sunday against Kansas City," said Welker.

"Even in practice, we run at full speed and make sure we're getting the right look by the scout team," said Welker.
