(Prat Thakkar, NECN: Worcester, MA) - Severe weather moving across New England has caused problems for many people.
A tornado warning was in affect for part of the day and an unconfirmed report of a funnel cloud in the North Central Worcester region, in the area of Route 2.
In Worcester residents basements in the Grafton Hill neighborhood were flooded by heavy rains. It looked like a lake outside a Price Chopper Supermarket, and customers said it was even worse inside.
Some roads were flooded causing a hectic commute, but have begun to recede.
