(NECN) - A major storm is hitting New England, with many areas under a severe thunderstorm watch.
Heavy rain is expected to cause minor flooding in low-lying areas.
Hail has been reported in Connecticut with high winds reported in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The thunderstorm watch will be in effect for all three states until 10 p.m.
NECN meteorologist Tim Kelley has the latest.
