(NECN) - There is a risk of pollution this time of year. Rain can wash salt and other road treatments into storm drains. Some researchers in New Hampshire may have come up with a solution for both problems.
Researchers at the University of New Hampshire may have found a way to cut salt use, reduce runoff and solve a number of other winter problems.
NECN's Lauren Collins has details.
