Bird's Nest aglow with fireworks display

(NECN/ABC) - The opening ceremony for the 2008 Summer Games kicked off this morning.

Although you will not be able to watch the actual ceremony until later Friday evening on NBC, we have video shot from outside the Bird's Nest of the fireworks display put on by the Chinese.

Thousands looked on from outside Olympic Stadium to catch the show, and so can you.
