(NECN: China) - AP Television News has acquired exclusive amateur video showing the moment the devastating earthquake struck in China.
An amateur cameraman captured the moment while motor biking with friends in a mountain reserve outside Chengdu on May 12th.

The video begins with hills shaking forcefully as panic ensues.
Rubble from houses, and broken trees are strewn on the road.
A young girl appears briefly in shot holding an infant.
The amateur cameraman and his friends decide to leave the scene and drive off, passing further severe structural damage in the immediate aftermath, and people walking around in a daze, or running, along the way.
The amateur cameraman and friends were traveling on 3 motorbikes between them up Qingchengshan mountain (17km from Dujiangyan), hoping to reach its summit.
They were deep inside a large reserve of ancient forest land when they felt the earthquake.
Within seconds, the man filmed what he saw around him.
The reserve is popular with local tourists who were also caught up in the earthquake.
