(NECN) - Wednesday marks the 60th anniversary of the birth of the State of Israel. Events have been planned throughout the world to mark the occasion. Even after 60 years after its declaration of independence, Israel's statehood remains a point of contention in the Mid East.
Joining us to talk about what is a very complicated history of statehood is Dr. Paula Kabalo, author of "The Volunteers Line - The Story of a Civic Association", and the Schusterman visiting Professor of Judaic studies at Boston University.
