(NECN) - On Sunday, Great Britain is remembering the men and woman who died serving their country in times of war.

Queen Elizabeth the 2nd has joined British Prime Minister Gordon Brown for the United Kingdom's Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph War Memorial.

The remembrance service is held every year on the nearest Sunday to the anniversary of the end of World War 1.
