Thursday, October 8th, our "Ask the Experts" series returned, as the New England Lincoln Mercury Dealers Association presented your chance to learn more about the latest technology going into the newest cars. From bluetooth to GPS, from hands-free technology to heads-up displays - we discussed the latest in technology from Lincoln Mercury and Ford, including new services in the Ford SYNC platform, with Doug VanDagens, Ford's Director of COnnected Service Solutions, and Michelle Moody, Ford's Cross Vehicle Marketing Director. ASK THE EXPERTS: ELECTRIC AND ALTERNATIVE FUEL SOLUTIONS

On Thursday, September 3, at 12:30pm, the New England Lincoln Mercury dealers sponsored a webcast featuring a look at the latest in hybrid and "electrified fuel" vehicle technology. David Finnegan, the Hybrid and Electrified Vehicles Marketing Manager for Ford, and Praveen Cherian, the Fusion Hybrid Program team leader for Ford discussed the new technology in the latest Ford and Lincoln Mercury hybrids - including the new Mercury Milan hybrid that gets more than 700 miles from a single tank of gas!

We also looked at the cost differential between gasoline and hybrid-powered cars, and at the future of hybrid technology, including the possibilities for plug-in and other electric cars and trucks, and took questions from the live chat audience.
