| August 2, 2008 FBI, Police look for Rockefeller in Caribbean

(NECN: Boston, MA) - The search for Clark Rockefeller and his seven-year-old daughter Reigh today focused on the Caribbean. Police are looking into three possible sightings of the two on the Turks and Caicos Islands.
An FBI unit in the Bahamas is working to substantiate tips. At least of those leads have already been reported false.
Nearly a week after 7 year old Reigh Rockefeller was allegedly snatched by her father Clark Rockefeller in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood... the FBI, the Coast Guard, the Boston police and police in the Caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos continued hunting for the pair.
Police on the islands were looking into tips that Thursday a man and a small girl resembling the pair were seen at a Napa auto parts store and a 7-11... but by Friday evening, authorities confirmed the 2 sightings were not of Clark Rockefeller and his daughter...island police were also reportedly looking into a tip of a man and a little girl leaving a hospital.
