August 2, 2008 FBI, Police look for Rockefeller in Caribbean Play video

(NECN: Boston, MA) - The search for Clark Rockefeller and his seven-year-old daughter Reigh today focused on the Caribbean. Police are looking into three possible sightings of the two on the Turks and Caicos Islands.

An FBI unit in the Bahamas is working to substantiate tips. At least of those leads have already been reported false.

Nearly a week after 7 year old Reigh Rockefeller was allegedly snatched by her father Clark Rockefeller in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood... the FBI, the Coast Guard, the Boston police and police in the Caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos continued hunting for the pair.

Police on the islands were looking into tips that Thursday a man and a small girl resembling the pair were seen at a Napa auto parts store and a 7-11... but by Friday evening, authorities confirmed the 2 sightings were not of Clark Rockefeller and his daughter...island police were also reportedly looking into a tip of a man and a little girl leaving a hospital.

Hoping for more leads Friday Boston Police released updated descriptions... the 7 year old 4 ft blond reigh is said to have a * Bright Smile * Smart, Outgoing, and Affectionate * Will converse with anyone, has a large vocabulary, uses big words and speaks with a British accent. * Walks distinctively usually hopping every 5 to 6 paces. * Favorite color: pink and * Loves book and movie, "The Little Princess"

Police describe Clark Rockefeller as having * Orange/red dyed hair with

a permanent white patch of hair on the back of his head * Boston Brahmin, European and Scottish sounding accent * Speaks some Russian * Interested in sailing, physics, art and frequents libraries * Says he was home schooled and may say Reigh is home-schooled
