| August 28, 2008 NECN Extra: 'Rockefeller' driver says this is 'all quite a shock'
|
(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - The driver of a limousine that whisked away the man known as Clark Rockefeller and his daughter after he allegedly kidnapped the seven-year-old girl says "everything seemed to be as it was."
Darryl Hopkins tells NECN that Rockefeller "was a client, I knew nothing about him, more than we'd go to the Dexter School and pick up his daughter. I didn't know anything about any divorce."
Hopkins says he "used to be the popular chauffeur here in Boston" and that this is "all quite a shock."
When asked what he will tell the grand jury, Hopkins said "the truth, exactly what happened."
