|
(NECN: Washington) - President Bush was asked what it would take to get him to say the words "we are in a recession" during a White House news conference on Tuesday.
Bush said "these are very difficult economic times, very difficult, and we will let the economists define it for what it is."
"I fully understand that people are concerned," said the president.
"The government can create more anxiety or less and if you think your taxes are going to go up, that'll make you anxious," said Bush.
