Arrest made in arson suspected wildfires

(NECN: Brevard County, Fla.) - Brevard County, Florida officials held a news conference on Wednesday morning. Police said a suspect, identified as Brian Crowder, is in custody in connection to the Florida wildfires.

At least 40 homes have been gutted by wildfires and the fires in Brevard County have burned more than 15 square miles.

Officials say they are getting closer to containing the blazes.

Officials said the total damage estimate was approximately $9.6 million.
