(NECN: Tampa, Fla.) - Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama held a rally in Tampa, Florida on Wednesday.
Obama discussed what he thought the American Dream was all about. "The belief that here in America, if you try you can make it." "We are all in it together. All of us are gonna rise up together, or we're gonna fall together," said Obama.
Florida's renegade primary was disallowed.
The Illinois senator is seeking to mend fences in a key general election state snubbed by the Democratic National Committee.
Hillary Clinton is continuing her push to have the state's primary count and its delegates seated at the party's national convention in Denver in August.
Obama has an overall total of 1,962 delegates, including endorsements from superdelegates.
Rival Hillary Clinton has 1,779, including superdelegates, according to the latest tally by the AP.
