(NECN) - What's a parent to do when their child gets sick?
With the cold and flu season well underway, the FDA is warning parents to stay away from over-the-counter cough and cold medicines for small children.
The government says parents should not give drugs to children under two-years-old because of "serious and potentially life-threatening side effects."
Dr. Craig Canapari of Massachusetts General Hospital for Children joins NECN.
