A small biotech based in Cambridge, Mass., continues to turn the heads of drug-making giants. Biogen Idec is the latest company to invest in hydra biosciences. Hydra is developing small molecules to treat pain, cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases by targeting specific ion channels. Hydra is the leading company in its field.
