A man accused of making a highly-flammable drug in a Manchester, New Hampshire, apartment he spent the night in, will be arraigned Tuesday morning.
Manchester Police responded to a Lake Avenue apartment building Monday after one tenant called about a strong odor coming from one of the apartments.
Police say Derek Russell was concocting an exotic drug. Russell doesn't live in the building, but he had stayed in one of the apartments overnight.
Russell, 40, had stayed in an apartment with a woman and her three children. They were all taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Authorities determined the product in the glass jars to be DHT, Dimethyltryptamine, a psychedelic hallucinogen that can cause blackouts.
The entire building was evacuated for about seven hours until hazmat teams finished inspecting the building.
