Disney's ‘Halloweentown' Comes to Life in Oregon

Every year, the town transform to recreate the magical set of the 1998 Disney movie

The beloved 1998 Disney movie "Halloweentown" comes to life again this year in St. Helens, Oregon, where it was filmed.

Every year, the town transform to recreate the magical set that Debbie Reynolds and Kimberly J. Brown used to tell the story of a magical town that was threatened by dark magic. Starting Oct. 8, fans and Halloween lovers can visit the Spirit of Halloweentown Festival.

Just 40 miles outside of Portland, the festival will include haunted tractor rides, a haunted mansion, "walking scared" tours, variety shows, dance parties and photo ops.

Brown, who played teenage witch Marnie Piper in the "Halloweentown" movies, has made appearances in past festivals and is stopping by again this weekend. She’ll be kicking off the iconic pumpkin lighting ceremony, as well as posing for pictures in a replica of the haunted cab from the movie.
