Miranda Lambert Breaks Silence About Divorce From Blake Shelton

Miranda Lambert is finally speaking out about her divorce from Blake Shelton.

The 32-year-old country music star talked about their breakup in an interview with Cosmopolitan, which “Entertainment Tonight” and NBC's “Today” reported this week, more than four months after Shelton, 39, filed papers to end their marriage.

"Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try," she is quoted as telling the magazine. "I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted."

Lambert and Shelton were married for more than four years. They have no children together.

Shelton, who first spoke about the divorce to the media in September, is now dating his “The Voice” co-star Gwen Stefani, 46. Stefani filed papers to end her marriage to husband Gavin Rossdale in August. The two have three sons together.

Lambert recently starting dating, but there's no one serious on the horizon yet, E! News learned recently.

"She can't wait to one day have children if it's meant to be and have a husband again," a source said. “She has not given up on love."

Lambert decided to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with her family, according to her Instagram page.
