The Silent Picture Experience

Ever wondered what it would be like to experience a silent picture? Then turn back the hands of time and head to the Somerville Theatre.

The world-renowned Alloy Orchestra will be performing their orginal live score at the Massachusetts venue, along with the 1926 silent film classic, "The Son of the Sheik."

The performance is Saturday at 8 p.m. and tickets start at $25.

You can watch history come alive and see the old State House abuzz with activity on Saturday, March 7, commemorating and reenacting the Boston Massacre on its 245th anniversary.

During the day, you can bring the family to visit the State House to learn its history. Then, as night falls, you can witness the famous event on the very spot where it happened in 1770.

The reenactment begins at 7 p.m. and it's free.

Lastly, if you fell in love with Lucille Ball back in the 1950s, then you'll want to head to the Hanover Theatre in Worcester this weekend to see "I Love Lucy: Live on Stage."

This stage show is adapted from one of the most beloved programs in television history.

You can see Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel as they perform two hilarious and familiar episodes.

Tickets are still available and they range from $33 to $66.
