"My dad needs a simple will, durable power of attorney and healthcare proxy. We have begun the search for an attorney but there are so many out there! We've asked friends and family and don't like their suggestions. What criteria should we use to find a highly competent, intelligent and ethical attorney?" asked Beth from Framingham.

"Check out the Bar association," said Lane. "Google your state, Bar association, and they kind of divide them out based on their expertise."
