It's a great time to find or switch jobs in the state of Massachusetts, according to a recent report in the Boston Business Journal.

"The hunt for talent" is the name of the article examining the job landscape in the Bay State. Article author and BBJ executive editor, George Donnelly, joined NECN to discuss.

Donnelly says there are many industries looking to fill a variety of positions.

"Because of the shortage of the right kind of talent, it's just putting employees in the drivers seat a little more than they have in the past," Donnelly said.

The recruiting industry is booming as a result of the recent shift, but they've been challenged.

"There's constraints. There's only so many skilled people. So they are struggling to find the right kind people," Donnelly added.
