The new paid sick time leave law in Massachusetts is sure to affect small businesses. Such employers are already trying to deal with the Affordable Care Act and an increase in minimum wage.

In BBJ reporter Jessica Bartlett's article, Sick-leave law's unhealthy burden, she takes a look at the new law.

Bartlett joined NECN Business to discuss her findings. Among them, Bartlett said some employers voiced concern over whether employees will show up for work on time and stay for their entire shift.

It's important to note that it's not just small businesses that are going to have to make some changes once the new law is in effect, Bartlett said.
