General Mills has announced plans to close its yogurt manufacturing facility in Methuen, Massachusetts.

The company says it will be consolidating production at other facilities.

The company expects the transition to be finished by late summer of 2015.

General Mills said the move will impact 144 employees and all affected will receive transition and severance benefits.
