(NECN) - On this installment of Chief Executives' Club, Honeywell International CEO David Cote spoke at Boston Harbor Hotels Wharf Room.

In 2010, President Obama appointed Mr. Cote to the bipartisan National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform. He also co-chairs the U.S.-India CEO Forum.

Cote discussed Americas debt crisis and the looming threats to American competitiveness.

With annual revenues in excess of $36.5 billion and 132,000 employees, Honeywell invents and manufactures products in the areas of aerospace, automation and control solutions, performance materials and technologies, and transportation systems. With units in Canton, Danvers and Acton, Honeywell employs approximately 3,000 people in Massachusetts and New England.
