2nd West Nile Virus-Positive Mosquito Pool Found in Boston

No human cases of the illness in Boston this year

A mosquito pool in Boston has tested positive for West Nile Virus for the second time this summer.

Tests performed earlier this week confirmed a positive mosquito pool in the Roslindale section of the city.

On Tuesday, officials reported Boston's first West Nile Virus-positive mosquito pool of the season in Jamaica Plain.

To date, there have been no human cases of the mosquito-borne illness in Boston this year.
