A third Massachusetts resident has been diagnosed with West Nile virus this season.
State health officials say the patient is a man in his 70s living in Suffolk County. He's currently in the hospital.
The risk for the mosquito-borne illness will continue to linger until the first hard frost, according to health officials.
There were 10 human cases of West Nile virus last year.
