Doctor: Release of Ebola Patients “Completely Safe”

Dr. Daniel Kuritzkes discusses the recovery of two American doctors treated for deadly illness

The two American doctors who got the deadly Ebola virus in Africa are now resting at home.

Both of them were treated and released from a hospital in Atlanta.

Dr. Daniel Kuritzkes, the chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Brigham and Women's Hospital, joined NECN to discuss the incredible recovery.

"It's really completely safe for these two health care workers to have been released," said Kuritzkes. "The physicians taking care of them there have made absolutely sure that they're fully recovered and they're no longer contagious to anybody."
