There are few things that are trending more right now than the "Ice Bucket Challange."

People are challenging each other to dump a bucket of ice water over their head to raise awareness and money for ALS.

Former Boston College baseball player Pete Frates was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease two years ago. He's just 29 years old.

Pete and his family have become a force in raising awareness and getting people to do the deep freeze.

NECN's Ally Donnelly decided to take on the challenge, and NECN's Steve Aveson was glad to help.
