Police found 85 grams of cocaine in car

Massachusetts State Police said a motor vehicle violation on Interstate 84 in Sturbridge on Sunday led to the arrest of two people on cocaine charges.

Police said a trooper stopped a Pontiac Bonneville at about 12 p.m. During an investigation with another trooper, the driver of the car and her passenger were found to be in possession of 85 grams of cocaine.

Police arrested the driver, Jeannie Ortiz, 41, of Stoughton, and the passenger, Domingo Ortiz, 51, of Lynn. Both were charged with trafficking cocaine and conspiracy to violate drug law. Jeannie Ortiz was also issued a citation for a motor vehicle violation.
