    Teen Driver Busted for Going 118 mph in Wrong Direction

     An unlicensed female was taken into custody after driving 118 mph in the wrong direction on the highway, New Hampshire State Police confirmed.

    New Hampshire State Police were notified of a vehicle spotted traveling southbound in the northbound lane on Interstate 93 early Sunday morning.

    The 16-year-old operator refused to stop and continued onto Interstate 293 until spike strips were deployed near the Amoskeag Bridge in Manchester.

    The vehicle continued for a short distance and came to a stop in the area of exit 4 where she was taken into custody without incident.
