1 Arrested in D'Angelo's Robbery

Evidence recovered at the scene linked Brian Moore to the crime

Police in Laconia, New Hampshire, have arrested a man in connection to a robbery that took place at D'Angelo's Restaurant on Union Ave.

Brian Moore, 35, of Plymouth, forced his way inside of the establishment on Dec. 23, and demanded cash from the register.

Just after closing time, an employee went out back to dump trash. Moore, who was wearing a black mask, barged through the open door.

Two employees were present at the counter when Moore approached them. One escaped the restaurant and phoned police.

Moore left on foot shortly thereafter. No weapons were used during the incident. It's not known how much money Moore made off with.

Evidence recovered at the scene linked Moore to the crime. The evidence was sufficient enough for police to secure a search warrant.

Moore was arrested at his home on Friday and charged with robbery, among several other things. He refused bail and is currently being held at Belknap County Jail. He awaits arraignment on Monday.
