One man died when a private snow plow truck crashed in Manchester on Saturday, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation confirms.

State police responded just before 11:30 a.m. to the crash on the northbound side of I-293.

Thirty-six-year-old Matthew Allard of Manchester lost control of his vehicle, went off the road to the right, crossed both lanes and crashed into the median, police believe.

Allard was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Elliot Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police do not believe speed was a factor in the crash, the cause of which remains under investigation.
