1 Killed, 3 Injured After 2 Motorcycles Crash

A 48-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at Cape Cod Hospital

One person was killed and three others were injured after two motorcycles collided in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, Friday morning, according to police.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Route 28 and Old Main Street.

Bruce Fernandes, 48, of Pascoag, Rhode Island, sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at Cape Cod Hospital.

His passenger, his 24-year-old daughter Brittany Fernandes, sustained severe leg and head injuries and was transported to Cape Cod Hospital.

Bruce's brother 45-year-old Scott Fernandes of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and his passenger, 25-year-old Amy Tessier of Pascoag, were taken to Cape Cod Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
