A woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a one vehicle crash in Bellingham, Massachusetts.
The crash happened on Interstate 495 northbound at exit 18 around 4 p.m.
Massachusetts State Police said a preliminary investigation showed that the 51-year-old driver from North Attleborough somehow turned her Honda CRV sharply to the right and went off the side of the highway. She then went airborne and struck a tree.
The woman, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police and Bellingham Police.
