One person was hospitalized following a shooting in East Boston late Wednesday night.
According to Boston EMS, they responded to Sumner Street around 11:20 p.m.
Boston Police say the female victim was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A suspect could not be located and police could not find witnesses.
The incident remains under investigation.
