Firefighters in Swansea, Massachusetts, rescued a man after responding to a house fire Friday morning.
Officials say the fire at a home on Locust Street started on the couch from the improper disposal of smoking materials.
A man who lived in the home was found unconscious by firefighters, and first responders performed CPR on him before he was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
His current condition is unknown.
