Police in Central Falls, Rhode Island, arrested 10 men ranging in age from 21 to 77 in an undercover "john sting" this week.
WJAR-TV reports that three female Central Falls police officers posed as prostitutes Wednesday in high traffic areas.
Arrested were:
- Peter Lust, 35, of East Providence, for soliciting from motor vehicle for indecent purposes.
- Lucien LeClerc, 53, of Burrillville, for soliciting from a motor vehicle for indecent purposes.
- Michael King, 21, of Seekonk, for soliciting from motor vehicle for indecent purposes.
- Robert Bowman, 26, of Pawtucket, for soliciting from a motor vehicle for indecent purposes.
- Andrew Byrnes, 77, of Narragansett, for soliciting form a motor vehicle for indecent purposes.
- Jose Barragan, 72, of Lincoln, for soliciting from a motor vehicle for indecent purposes.
- Herbert Walmsley, 47, of Central Falls, for soliciting from a motor vehicle for indecent purposes.
- Anastacio Tavares, 53, of Pawtucket, for procurement of sexual conduct for a fee.
- Victor Carrion, 65, of Pawtucket, for procurement of sexual conduct for a fee.
- Irlando Barros, 55, of Central Falls, for procurement of sexual conduct for a fee.
The 10 men were arraigned on the above charges and are scheduled to return to court in June.
