More than a dozen people were arrested as part of a drug crackdown in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Thursday.
Members of the Manchester Police Department's Special Enforcement Division and SWAT team executed a search warrant at 330 Lowell St. at 5:45 a.m. Thursday to kick off the second week of Operation Granite Hammer, aimed at locating and arresting those involved in the sales of illegal drugs. The multi-agency approach also included the New Hampshire State Police drug unit.
Arrested at the Lowell Street location were:
- Samantha McCarty, 26, of Manchester, on a sale of a controlled drug charge.
- Patrick Heile, 27, of Manchester, on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled drug.
- Stephen Foden, 28, of Manchester, on an outstanding warrant for two counts of possession of a controlled drug.
Multiple teams of detectives, federal agents and state police then drove throughout the city, arresting a dozen others:
- Henry Prive, 39, of Manchester, on an outstanding warrant for a violating parole on a robbery charge. After the execution of an arrest warrant, he was also charged with two armed robberies at a local gas station in September.
- Dawn Russo, 39, of Manchester, on an outstanding warrant for forgery and receiving stolen property.
- Brian Strandberg, 30, of Manchester, on an outstanding warrant for sale of a controlled drug.
- Ousman Trawalley, 24, of Alexandria, Virginia, on a possession of a controlled drug charge.
- Michael Patterson, 63, of Rochester, on a possession of a controlled drug charge.
- Richard Valentin, 40, of Manchester, on a possession of a controlled drug charge.
- William Slocum, 29, of Manchester, on an outstanding warrant for another agency; charge not available.
- Daniel Rogers, 29, of Manchester, on a resisting arrest charge.
- Christopher King, 25, of Manchester, on an outstanding warrant for another agency; charge not available.
- Nicholas Sullivan, 22, of Raymond, on an outstanding electronic bench warrant; charge not available.
- Tiffany Copeland, 27, of Manchester, on a possession of a controlled drug charge.
- Mark Demita, 47, of Manchester, on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled drug.
Police also seized a small amount of crack cocaine, heroin, 3/4 of a pound of marijuana, 14 ounces of hash oil, a long rifle, and more than $5,000 cash.
